Restaurants are Averaging $140,000 in ERC Returns. What About You?

In a survey we ran, 92% of restaurants saw a revenue loss of greater than 20% in 2020 due to the mandated COVID shutdowns. Yet, only 60% of restaurants have applied for the federal Employee Retention Credit (ERC).

The ERC is a refundable credit that businesses can claim on qualified wages, including certain health insurance costs, paid to employees. It was designed to incentivize companies to keep staff on their payroll during the sweeping shutdowns of 2020 and 2021 — including bars & restaurants.

Restaurants can receive up to $26,000 per employee through the ERC, and are averaging $140,000 in returns. That’s much-needed relief in a brutal market.

And if you think you’re not eligible because you received PP loans or SBA payments, you’ll be happy to hear how wrong you are. Even if you got other federal relief efforts, you’re still eligible for the ERC!

Fortunately the process is pretty painless. In our webinar, ERC for Restaurants, we’ll walk you through the entire process. We’ve lived through the experience and are happy to impart what we’ve learned and how it all works.

The free webinar is now available on-demand.
