Foursquare exploded onto the scene and created the concept of the location mayor. The more someone checks into your place the more recognition they are delivered.
You don’t need Foursquare to do this. You know who your regulars are, so deliver them a specialized recognition or reward. Simple things like a $10 gift card or a staff t-shirt can have a huge impact.
You can also reward them for mentioning you on Facebook or Twitter. Let them know you see them participating in building your brand.
